Yes, I have had that experience. It was the most stupid thing. My best friend had recieved a hate text from this girl I know, and I laughed when I heard about it. Not an "oh that's so funny, she hates you" laugh, but an "I don't believe this girl I know could have been so stupid" laugh. And she stopped speaking to me, and I didn't know why. She tried to be friendly again later, but I'm not going to be friends with her any more.
Anyway, my advice is, try really hard to talk to your friend in person, and ask her reasonably what the problem is. She should tell you. It's what I did, any my ex-friend did tell me what the problem was.

Just take a deep breath, relax, and realize it's okay to talk to her about this. Ask her nicely why she's mad at you, in person. Also, I advise to wait at least a couple of days before doing that. Well a couple of days after she stopped talking to you. If she doesn't respond, she's either not worth it or needs more time. Remember that time heals all wounds, including the wound that she has, whatever caused it. it was probably a misunderstanding whatever happened, so tell her that. And you seem really sweet and girls like that so don't leave anything out. Obviously if she doesn't stop ignoring you, try leaving with some dignity and confidence, or spill everything out and tell her what you told us. It may be hard but think about the reward you'd be getting--her friendship. It might just make her think twice about not being your friend. And realize that there could be a variety of causes for what she's doing--misunderstanding(most likely), love, tragedy, but I think misunderstanding is probably the most likely. If you need any more advice, lemme know 'cause I can help!
