This is a story i thought of ages ago:
There was a young guy called Speck. He was a great player at rugby league and was the star player of the team. But one day, he found out that his girlfriend, Bella, had cancer. He was so devastated to hear the news, that he left halfway through his semi-final match to go and see her.
Then everyday from then on, he continued to visit her. He would sit by her side for hours on end over the next two weeks. He would come at 7:00am in the morning, then leave at 7:00pm at night.
As the days went on, Bella slowly began to lose her hair from the all the treatment she was currently undergoing. So Speck decided to take her out that night. They were having so much fun, even in the rain. But then they both stopped, as the rain started pouring more heavily, and Speck kissed her in the rain.
The next day the rugby league Grand final for Speck's team. The score was 16-14, and all the team needed was a try in order to win.
Bella came along to watch, in the crowd. As the clock counted down, Speck managed to get the ball, with only ten seconds left on the clock. He grabbed the ball and began sprinting, heading towards the line.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4....3...2.TRY!" shouted the announcer over the speakers.
The crowd cheered loudly as he jumped over the line. It was a great feeling for Speck, until he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Bella fell down and wasn't breathing.
Speck saw her on the ground and in a panic, rushed over and kneeled by her side. He bent down and whispered quietly in her ear "Please don't leave me".
As tears began to slide down Specks face, Bella managed to reply, "I wont. just remember me" and that was all. She had stopped breathing.
Speck grieved for a whole month before he finally decided that he wanted to go back to the football field. When he arrived he was a little surprised. They had redone up the whole field. It looked much better. But the area where Bella had died, there was a new gardenbed with lots of colourful flowers. He went over to them and picked out one. And he treasured it forever.
The End
